Child Safety Standards

Vaka Live has zero tolerance for child sexual abuse and exploitation or child sexual abuse material.

1. Purpose and scope

These standards explain how Vaka Live prevents, prohibits, and responds to child-safety violations across the mobile app, public rooms, live broadcasts, profiles, posts, direct messages, and other user content.

Vaka Live is an 18+ service. People under 18 may not create or use an account. That age restriction does not reduce our responsibility to protect children, respond to child-safety concerns, or take action when our services are misused to harm a child.

For these standards, a child or minor is anyone under 18 years old.

2. Zero-tolerance standards

We prohibit any content, conduct, or attempted conduct that sexually abuses, exploits, or endangers a child. This includes:

  • Creating, uploading, possessing, storing, sharing, distributing, selling, requesting, or attempting to obtain CSAM.
  • Sexualizing a child, including sexual comments, imagery, audio, role-play, or other content involving a real or depicted minor.
  • Grooming a child for sexual contact, sexual conversation, image sharing, exploitation, or another abusive purpose.
  • Sextortion, blackmail, coercion, threats, or pressure involving a child's sexual content or activity.
  • Trafficking, soliciting, advertising, arranging, or facilitating sexual access to or exploitation of a child.
  • Directing a child to another account, room, website, app, or private channel for sexual or exploitative purposes.
  • Computer-generated or manipulated child sexual abuse material, including material made with artificial intelligence, where covered by applicable law or these platform standards.

These rules apply regardless of whether prohibited material or conduct is public, private, live, temporary, digitally created, or shared as a supposed joke.

3. How to report a child-safety concern

If you encounter suspected CSAE, CSAM, grooming, or another risk to a child, report it as soon as possible.

Report in the app

  1. Open Me.
  2. Select Help.
  3. Describe the concern, include identifying details such as the account, Vaka ID, room, or message, and add optional screenshots only when they do not contain suspected CSAM.
  4. Select Submit.

Report by email

Email our designated child-safety contact at [email protected]. Include the account name or Vaka ID, room name, relevant dates or times, and a clear description of what happened.

Reports made in good faith are encouraged, even when you do not have complete information. Knowingly false or malicious reports may result in action under our rules.

4. Review, removal, and enforcement

We promptly review child-safety reports and take action appropriate to the available information and risk. Our actions may include:

  • Removing or disabling access to known CSAM and other prohibited content.
  • Restricting, suspending, or permanently banning accounts involved in CSAE, CSAM, grooming, or credible child endangerment.
  • Preserving relevant account, content, and moderation records where permitted or required by applicable law.
  • Reporting confirmed CSAM or credible child endangerment to the appropriate regional or national authority, including the National Center for Missing & Exploited Children (NCMEC) where applicable.

We may take immediate protective action while a report is being reviewed. Enforcement decisions consider the safety risk, available context, and applicable legal obligations.

5. Child-safety laws and cooperation

Vaka Live complies with applicable child-safety laws and reporting obligations in the regions where it operates. We cooperate with lawful requests from law-enforcement agencies and relevant child-protection authorities, while handling information in accordance with applicable privacy and data-protection requirements.

6. Immediate danger and external reporting

If a child is in immediate danger, contact local emergency services or law enforcement now. Do not wait for a response from Vaka Live.

You may report to Vaka Live as well as to the appropriate external authority. External reporting does not require you to first contact us.
